About You

How can we help you?

A women’s health needs change throughout their lives. From adolescence when the body is transitioning into maturity to the need for a personalized contraception solution or infertility guidance to prenatal care and finally menopause, Essex County OB/GYN is extremely experienced in treating all Women’s Health-related conditions and meeting one’s individual needs with personalized, expert care.

Teens

A teen’s first OB visit should take place after menstruation has begun. If a teen has not received her period by the age of 15, she should come in for a checkup.

Twenties & Thirties

Checkups and Women’s Health testing should take place annually at this age. Also relevant for consideration is birth control and/or fertility guidance.

Forties

Annual checkups and testing are encouraged for this age bracket to monitor the transition from childbearing years to perimenopause and eventually menopause.

Menopause & Beyond

Menopausal and postmenopausal women should have annual gynecological checkups and PAP smears.
